CONDORLUBE 280 SAL is Condoroil answer to chemical restrictions
EU regulations on environment and safety have recently focused on SVHC substances use and its consequences on human health and nature. Many industrial processes have been reviewed, and new substances have been classified as of very high concern, with consequent limitation of use.
Between these, boron and boron-containing salts are key elements in the wires and bars industry processes.
However, the recent restrictions in the chemical field are no issue to Condoroil. The Italy-based company is at the forefront of innovation, and has indeed developed a borax free lubricant carrier salt to be used in the stainless steel salting processes: Condorlube 280 SAL. This new innovative formulation is a mixture of salts partially soluble in water, and allows obtaining high quality drawn materials.
The innovative characteristics of Condorlube 280 SAL are: the total absence of borax and boron derivatives; a very low coefficient of hygroscopicity, limiting the absorption of atmospheric moisture; the extreme adherence to the substrate, drastically reducing the dustiness during material processing and handling; the reduction of the working concentration thanks to the strong adherence to the material, the formation of a uniform deposit and the high pickup capacity towards lubricants; the easy bath maintenance by monitoring the solution density.
