Enhance power cable production with the PS double-head automatic spool winding lines

Due to the increasing market demand for machines capable of winding up cable spools with OD ranging from 400 mm to 600-800 mm, PS Costruzioni Meccaniche has ramped up production of automatic double-head spool winding lines, which come equipped with palletizing unit and pallet wrappers.

These versatile lines can work off-line with a pay-off or in line with an extruder, providing a single/continuous process from cable insulation up to the final packaging, ready for delivery on labeled pallets.

Two models are available:

MOD. PS 630/15-2B

Capable of handling cables up to 15 mm in diameter, including round and flat cables. The spool sizes can vary, accommodating flange diameters up to 630 mm.

MOD. PS 800/20-2B

Perfect for cables up to 20 mm in diameter, including round and flat cables. Spool sizes can vary, covering flange diameters up to 800 mm.

Available spools can be made of various materials, such as plastic, plywood, or wood.

PS Costruzioni Meccaniche is committed to providing highly customized solutions. 
All lines have a modular structure, the basic configuration including two pay-off systems, a labeling machine, an automatic pallet unit, as well as several control devices, such as spark testers, lump detector, and inkjet cable printers. The automatic pallet unit, receiving alarms from control devices, displays two types of pallets: one for spools with good cables and one for faulty cables.
