QUEINS & Co. GmbH, Monschau, Germany, is the leading manufacturer for heavy-duty pay-offs and take-ups, and provides the industry with a wide range of this equipment. QUEINS product range covers column-type, cantilever-type, bridge-type, self-traversing portal-type, heavy rotating take-ups and pay-offs for power- and telecommunication cables as well as for steel wire ropes. Also offered are fork-type rotating take-ups for direct pull applications.
Standard models for reel sizes between 2600 mm (98") and 4500 mm (177") are shortly available. Standard sizes for take-up's and pay-off's are manufactured in a range from 3 to 300 tons of drum weight. Pictured here is a serial production of driven column-type pay-off’s, used on turntables for vertical stranders for production of umbilicals and subsea cables.
