Queins to deliver machines to several wire and rope manufacturers
The German machinery manufacturer Queins Machines GmbH presents some of the newest developments for the wire and rope industry.
Direct Taper, type QDT

A new direct taper made and delivered by QUEINS Machines GmbH has successfully gone into production at a customer’s plant. The specially designed tape brake for extremely sensitive application with fully automatic adjustment and tension control, incl. the completely ceramic bearings allows even a taping with highly sensitive fleece.
QUEINS Machines GmbH is delivering further belt capstans to various customers. Especially the machines delivered to a major customer in the cable industry stands out due to the extreme robustness and the energy-efficient driving systems. The constant control of the pulling force as well as the connection to the superior PPS-systems (Production planning system) are also available.
The newly developed portal type take-ups and pay-off stands are presently in the final testing phase in Queins headquarters in Monschau.
Winding drives with fully automatic coupling systems of 40.000Nm with use of space saving telescopic tube systems made of hardened special construction steel are only a few advantages of these machines. These machines are very easy to handle and are CE-conform incl. all necessary safety systems.
