The Germany-based company QUEINS Machines GmbH is offering since 1974 RECONDITIONING and UPGRADING services for a wide range of wire and cable producing machines. Due to increased demand for RECONDITONING and UPGRADING of machines the firm has assigned a team to these kind of projects.

For tubular stranders QUEINS Machines GmbH can offer a bearing monitoring with analysis about expected lifetime.


The work can be done in your factory or in Queins' workshop in Monschau, Germany (see picture right). The scope of activities includes:   - General checking of actual mechanical and electrical condition and issue a health report and a quotation with cost and time estimate.
- Upgrade controls to the latest generation of PLC and HMI using modern communication bus systems for data transfer between control components, communication to a superior factory management system and tele diagnostic. 
- Adding modern wire break and tape break detection system. 
- New motors with higher efficiency, lower energy consumption and drives with coupling of DC Link and regenerative feed in. 
- Upgrades to follow latest health and safety regulation and issue corresponding CE confirmation.
