SAMP: Interwire show preview

SAMP is delighted to invite you to the upcoming Interwire show, which will take place in Atlanta, GA from 28th to 30th April 2015.

The American subsidiary, SAMP USA, will exhibit some of the latest technologies and developments for wire and cable manufacturing, including a complete multi-wire drawing line, a double-twist bunching machine connected to a dynamic payoff, and a state-of-the-art extruder. A number of extrusion heads developed by SAMP's long-standing technology partner CJTEK will also be on display as the perfect complement of SAMP's extrusion lines.

Without a doubt, one of main highlights of the booth will be the DM 80 drawing machine, with 8 wires per row and 22 drafts (max. inlet 2.05 mm; outlet range from 0.15 to 0.92 mm), featuring standard Siemens AC water-cooled servo motors. The machine is linked to an annealer model AN 200 M (3500 Amp). The increased energy efficiency and extremely high power factor (cosϕ) of the manufacturing drawing line result in lower operating and maintenance costs, while simultaneously reducing energy consumption.



The SAMP multi-wire Drawing Machine Platform builds on many years of research and in-depth testing. The result is a series of modular machines characterized by slip recovery for energy saving purposes and multi-motor technology for lower stress on transmission and therefore an excellent quality of the final wire. The DM Platform comprises a wide range of solutions, designed to meet every possible customer requirement depending on their final application (building wire, white/brown goods, automotive, etc.). Particular attention has been given to ergonomics and man-machine interface by a clear and rational distribution of services and accessories. The result is a compact, flexible and easy-to-operate series of multi-wire drawing machines.
