SETIC and POURTIER have developed an extensive selection of single twist machines from 630 to 2500 mm guaranteeing versatility (LAN, control, instrumentation, data, etc) and flexibility (laying-up, stranding, wire armoring process).
The high-speed twist lines have both dual and single twist options that can be used for pay-off and take-up purposes. These lines are suitable for a range of bobbin sizes, including 1000, 1250, and 1600 mm. They offer three solutions in one line: a full back twist laying up-line, and 2 separate laying-up lines (cable manufacturing in multi-passes using a central back twist pay-off).

SETIC high-speed large double twist 2000 mm type “TC 2000-4M” is an innovative alternative for stranding large bare conductors from 7 to 61 wires up to 1000 TPM, copper, and aluminum, round or straight sector (61 wires Unilay production (compressed and compacted) up to 400 sqm Cu and 500 sqm Alu).
The machine features a compact and modern design, as it is equipped with AC motors, single bow, Bluetooth transmission, large pulley for machine and capstan, “bobbinless solution” with double basket-type pay-offs.



In addition to the large double-twist stranders/cablers, SETIC offers a comprehensive range of high-speed double-twist bunchers. The 630/800 mm double-twist bunchers are designed for bunching 7, 19, and 37 wires (Unilay construction) or laying up insulated wires for Data/Instrumentation/special cables.

POURTIER focuses on heavy-duty rotating machines (rigid and planetary stranders, single twist cablers, drum twisters) to produce all types of power cables: overhead, high voltage, extra-high voltage, and submarine cables.
