Windak Group, a change-over station model for continuous in-line cable packaging

Windak Group has recently carried out the development of its new change-over station model for continuous in-line cable packaging.

Featuring a variable speed gearbox, a robust double-beam accumulator, and a newly designed scissor cable cutter, the machine is able to stop the take-up, cut the cable to length, and preparing the loading of a second take-up. The cable reel loading process has also been streamlined, making the entire procedure quicker and easier for the operator.

Technical details of the change-over station CO2:
- larger capstan wheels;
- cable diameter up to 50 mm (2”);
- line speed to 300 meters per minute (1,000 fpm)
- robust, integrated open design;
- cutter made for larger cables;
- optional in-line sequential cable printer;
- variable speed automatic gearbox;
- portal style pay-offs & take-ups.
