Taping lines and cabling machines: WTM consolidating presence in the U.S.

Interwire 2017 is behind the corner and for WTM this is a paramount appointment. At Interwire 2017, booth no. 871, WTM will exhibit the high speed wrapping unit complete with the last generation of taping heads. It is provided with the patented triple-motorized control and, thanks to the high sensitivity of its DYNAMIC DANCER, these heads are particularly suitable for the production of special cables. The unit is the most suitable up-to-date solution for the production of high frequency, high speed and connecting cables for different high-tech applications such as cloud computing technology, server farms connections, wireless communications, military purposes, aerospace interconnect solutions, aircraft connections.  With the systems and the principles that W.T.M. uses to control the constancy of the process, being it a tape wrapping line or a single twisting one, WTM created the key for a more accurate and consistent production output, supplying customers also with equipment for cables sealing and curing. Not last, W.T.M. is ready to supply very accurate instruments for the quality control, like the consolidated VISIO System, that combined with powerful HW and SW allows from a simple visual monitoring of the cable surface, by magnifying it during its processing, to the capacity of achieving a geometry measurement and defect detection in real time. These principles are successfully applied also in the equipment for the production of flexible assembly and hi-Cat LAN cables: pairing lines, single twist take-up, back-twist feeders and rotating capstans.
