Taping and spinning lines

High-performance taping and spinning lines with both vertical and horizontal modular design, with 1, 2 or more wrapping units equipped with concentric and tangential taping heads.
These machines are design to wrap tapes or yarns on single or stranded wires and mono/multi-core cables (with flat, square, round, or sector section) and can work with every kind of tapes/yarns available on the market (mica, polyamide, polyimide, PTFE, paper, polyester, laminated tapes, Alu-foil, metal, fiberglass, etc.).

This equipment is extremely flexible, it can be arranged with any WTM wrapping head, both for pads up to 500 mm of diameter and cross wound spools up to 13 Kg.
Depending on the type of lay-out, the wrapping rotation can be synchronized to the line speed by means of caterpillar or capstan pulling units, or  a "combo" of caterpillar+capstan.
Any line is completed with pay-off and take-up units also available with traversing movement, with torque or dancer control. Thanks to the fully digital control system, by electrical axis and field-bus communication, it is possible to execute the most precise wrapping process. The machine can be easily managed by a color touch-screen panel.
