The coil-to-window technology unveiled: Dallan has you covered!
Dallan Spa, a specialist in sheet metal machinery, recently wrapped up its presence at the R+T trade fair in Stuttgart, one of the world's leading trade fairs in the blinds, doors, and solar shading systems sector. What better opportunity to talk about the company's coil-to-window technology?
What is coil-to-window technology?
Coil-to-window technology is a game-changer in the industry, and Dallan has been at the forefront of this innovation, installing the first fully automated line back in 1999. This cutting-edge process directly converts coils into blinds, precisely cut and secured with either plastic caps or through the company's patented mechanical locking system. This advanced technology minimizes waste to less than 2%, leading to significant production cost reductions and enhanced resource sustainability. With just one machine and operator, it's possible to produce up to 600 square meters of blinds in just 8 hours, setting new benchmarks for efficiency and quality in the industry.
The Italy-based company boasts two different coil-to-window models, one specific for rolling shutters and one for external venetian blinds.
Coil-to-window for rolling shutters
As a pioneering force in the rolling shutter industry, Dallan has introduced the "coil-to-window" technology, enabling the efficient production of finished sheets directly from aluminum coils. This process cuts and perforates the sheets without generating waste, achieving remarkable times of 2 to 4 minutes with the assistance of a single operator. These systems ensure top productivity, catering to the creation of both simple sheets and slats, as well as complete sheets with accessories. With options like clamping with or without plastic caps and a production speed ranging from 37 to 60 meters per minute, Dallan's offerings, including models such as DALLAN D6T, DALLAN D6TL, and DALLAN D610, deliver superior results through unmatched efficiency.
Coil-to-window for external venetian blinds
Dallan's coil-to-window lines exemplify efficiency in producing assembled sheets for external venetian blinds, featuring profiles in "C", “S”, and "Z" shapes. With patented buffering technologies, Dallan achieves the highest level of productivity on the market, generating 8 to 11 slats per minute for a 2-meter length. Notable models in the company's production range include the DALLAN D48ZV for Z and S profiles assembled on eyelet tape, and the DALLAN D48CV for C profiles on a ladder.
