Blechexpo plays a crucial role in bringing together professionals from the sheet metal processing industry, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation in this sector. It is a must-attend event for anyone involved in sheet metal manufacturing and related technologies. This is precisely why Faccin Group has solidified its commitment to participate in this upcoming edition. To provide deeper insight into the significance of the company's participation, Donatella Fumagalli, Faccin Group’s Marketing Specialist, will share her perspectives.

How important do you consider the German market for your sector?
Germany stands as the powerhouse of the European economy, showcasing its unwavering significance both locally and globally. Italy, on the other hand, ranks as Germany's fifth most crucial trade partner, while Germany holds the prestigious top spot for Italy. A global analysis further reinforces the robust economic bond between these two nations, showing above-average growth in their bilateral relationship. Germany holds significant strategic importance for us. However, it is essential to acknowledge that Blechexpo, as a highly prominent trade show, not only attracts local attendees but also draws visitors from various parts of Europe and the EMEA regions.
Is this your first time participating in Blechexpo? What are your expectations regarding participation, and how do you foresee it contributing to your business development?
For years, Faccin Group has been an eminent presence at Blechexpo, highlighting our expertise in the industry. Our primary goal is to be recognized as the leading provider of cutting-edge equipment that revolutionizes performance, while also driving down energy consumption and production costs. Our steadfast commitment to engineering excellence and sustainability underscores our unwavering dedication to enhancing performance and lower energy costs.
What machines will you bring? Will you be showcasing any new releases? Are there practical demonstrations planned at your booth?
The group will showcase the “GREEN” 4-roll Direct Electric-Drive plate roll, 4HEP-MPE series, that provides unmatched efficiency, productivity, and ergonomic benefits. Productivity is increased with rolling speeds of up to 10m/min, nearly doubling the speed of other plate rolls available in today’s market. Its highly efficient electric design reduces energy consumption costs by up to 35%. Operator ergonomics are improved with a nearly 15-dB reduction in noise levels and lower vibration. To boost productivity, the 4HEP-MPE will be equipped with the newly upgraded Siemens CNC - the PGS-Absolute™ and the recently launched laser-based plate roll measurement system, the Eyebend™.
• The Siemens CNC - the PGS-Absolute™ comes with powerful machine axis controls, new features, more functionalities, and a user-friendly interface. It comes with graphic real-time simulation, including complex shapes, and automatic re-alignment for conical plates.
• The Eyebend™ has been designed to quickly, and accurately, calculate the developing plate radius during the rolling process. This precise and contactless measuring method provides real-time feedback and radius self-correction through the CNC control. LIVE demonstrations will be carried out every day.
The Group will also showcase the new line of premium Roundo® Angle Roll, R62 series, for tube and profile bending. This model’s unparallel versatility covers capacities from 95 to 110 cm3. Manufactured with premium internal components, the R model offers the lowest working height in the industry, eliminating the need for pit construction, and bringing greater operator ergonomics while facilitating the profile or tube loading. Additionally, an advanced hydraulic system and special components have been incorporated to achieve noise reduction while increasing control. Each axis can be independently controlled, maintaining its maximum bending capacity without loss of power regardless of speed. For greater precision, a user-friendly control concept, the wCNC4, is provided as a standard feature.
Who will be present at the booth?
Representing our German branch will be Mr. Jens Gusdorf, along with our EMEA Director Mr. Federico Bonfogo, and the company’s CEO Andrea Ceretti. Additionally, we will have the privilege of hosting Senior Sales Technical Managers at the trade show.
How important is Faccin Group's participation in Blechexpo, considering its focus on the sheet metal industry?
The Blechexpo/Schweisstec dual exhibition is widely recognized for its comprehensive coverage of the modern and future-oriented sheet metal working process sequence, establishing itself as a highly respected event among industry experts. With the upcoming 16th edition of Blechexpo - the international trade fair for sheet metal working - and the 9th edition of Schweisstec - the prominent international trade fair for joining technology - attendees can expect an array of compelling attractions. The convergence of these two events in Stuttgart has made it especially appealing to visitors, making it imperative for us to participate as exhibitors. This event will undoubtedly attract a broader audience toward the metal forming solutions offered by the Faccin Group.
