Open profile production lines

FIMI is a renowned brand name in the steel industry: the group designs, manufactures and installs high-performance coil processing plants and machines. In particular, FIMI manufactures open profile production lines for the following materials:

• hot and cold rolled carbon steel;
• stainless steel;
• pre-painted steel;
• pickled and/or galvanized carbon steel;
• high strength steel (HSS);
• aluminum;
• copper.

FIMI lines can process widths up to 1750 mm, and thicknesses from 0.25 mm to 0.12 mm. The lines can be customized according to the customer’s requirements with pre-drilling and pre-grinding units, either start-stop, managed by feed systems, or on the fly.
The profiling units can be traditional or with interchangeable shafts and modules. The unloading and packing groups can handle lengths from 500 mm to 15000 mm with speeds between 2 and 50 m/min according to the type of product.
