EVIRT Italia: exotic materials and super alloys precision threading

Recently, EVIRT Italia has completed the development of an innovative high-precision process for the rolling of exotic materials and superalloys to be used in the threading of precision aerospace bolts through the SMART ROLLING MACHINE series.

Through an ad hoc mechanical clamping system, the new high-precision firmware of the PLANAR 20 Synchro 2.0 rolling machine – developed in cooperation with Siemens – ensures continuous control of the spindle synchronism. In addition, the sturdy design of the frame enables production with super tight thread tolerances—less than 0.003 mm.
