EVIRT Italia overcomes the nuclear test and gets ready for the CIMS in Beijing

EVIRT Italia has recently completed the project for the rolling of the nuclear reactor fastening screws. Born from the partnership signed with the administration of CNNC (China National Nuclear Corporation), the project opens the track for new nuclear installations in China and more generally in Asia and in the United States. The development of a specially designed machine has involved the technicians and designers of Evirt ITALIA alongside the technicians of the company CNNC, which after a year of tests and simulations, have finally brought it into production at beginning of 2019.

The machinery developed for this project is in fact a limited and customized series of the RADIAL 150 CNC rolling machine, which is the one with the highest process repeatability. Thanks to its countless features, it is today the most technologically advanced forming machine in the world. Developed, built and thoroughly tested in the modern Italian factory, it is equipped with three mobile slides and three 360-degrees rotating spindles, as well as many other patented technological features.

The SMART rolling machine has been heavily tested on very high precision components with diameters ranging from Ø 45 to Ø 350 mm, intended for the aerospace, nuclear and machine tool fields - flag milling machines, mechanical presses, etc. With this project, EVIRT Italia establishes itself once again among the top 5 world rolling machines manufacturers. This has been also confirmed by the invitation of Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry) to participate in the upcoming CIMT Tools Show 2019 in Beijing where Evirt Italia will defend the colors of the Italian innovation in the challenge against the German Profiroll and the American Kinefac.
