Evirt Italia to set the new gold standard in finned tubes production
EVIRT Italia presents a revolutionary concept of finning machine, the new Fin Evo Series.
The machines of the Fin Evo Series have been designed, manufactured, and tested in cooperation with two of the major leading manufacturers of extrusion finned tubes.
This brand-new line of machinery therefore represents the perfect combination between technical production requirements – of which reliability is certainly one of the most important aspects – and automation, an essential feature to make set-up operations faster, more precise, and absolutely independent from the operator's skills.
With the aim of achieving the above described aspects, Fin Evo machines have been designed with a solid main frame, dimensioned in a rigid and safe way through FEM analysis, both static and dynamic, applied to the worst working conditions of each machine. This frame guarantees the tools to be long-lasting, the total absence of vibrations in the working phases, and the maintenance of the required product tolerances.
To quote a famous commercial: "Power is nothing without control". For this reason, EVIRT Italia has combined the strength of the rigid frame with a series of innovative machine control solutions, such as:
- Single electric axis responsible for the movement of the three linear axes
no need to tune the three axes individually;
absolute sync during all production process;
reliable result and guaranteed process repeatability.
- Servo-assisted spindle inclination
90% shorter set-up times for more flexibility;
working angle positioning accuracy (< 0.01 degrees);
efficient production even with multiple machine setups (small batches);
high repeatability of production even with different setups;

The FIN Evo series features a 100 kN to 500 kN force range and a finned tube output span from ø10 mm to ø140 mm.
