Hatebur’s precision forging technology enhances Iidzka Seisakusho’s production efficiency

Hatebur Metalforming Equipment Ltd., a global leader in high-precision forming machines and tools, has supplied the Japanese automotive parts manufacturer Iidzka Seisakusho with its advanced Hatebur COLDmatic CM 625 machine, which will significantly enhance production efficiency at Iidzka’s Kagoshima plant. Specializing in cold forging for automotive safety components, Iidzka had previously gained experience with a second-hand Hatebur COLDmatic AKP 4-5, appreciating its reliability and precision. After evaluating its performance, Iidzka chose to invest in the new COLDmatic CM 625, a decision finalized during the 2022 wire trade show.
The Hatebur COLDmatic CM 625 represents a technological leap for Iidzka, offering high-speed production of up to 170 parts per minute, precision high-speed shearing, and an advanced part transfer system. The transition from vertical to horizontal forming with this machine allows for improved precision and greater process stability, which supports Iidzka’s commitment to high-quality production.
This machine also aligns with Japan’s Monozukuri (craftsmanship) and Kaizen (continuous improvement) principles, which are central to Iidzka's manufacturing philosophy. With the increased efficiency offered by the COLDmatic CM 625, Iidzka is well-positioned to expand its product range and potentially attract new business opportunities in the automotive sector.
