Saspi’s new generation of thread rollers showcased at the wire 2022 show

Let’s have a sight into Saspi S.A.’s experience at the most attended trade fair of the wire and tube industry, Düsseldorf’s wire 2022.

Saspi is a worldwide specialist in the fasteners sector. It has manufactured cutting-edge machines and supply for over 50 years. We asked Mr. Mikel Zaldua, one of Saspi’s specialists, about his impressions of the show.

“Compared to previous years we realized that the number of visitors was fewer, but the quality was much better,” declared Mr. Zaldua, “Our guests were mainly European, and very few visitors came from America or Asia. At least this is what we felt at our stand.”

Saspi’s booth A77 in hall 13 showcased some of the company’s latest novelties, including the brand-new thread rollers generation, completely motorized and with an advanced user-friendly interface. The camless secondary operation machine for fastener was another product customers had the chance to see first-hand. This pointing machine, capable of drilling or broaching up to 200 parts per minute, makes accuracy and flexibility its key points.

“It is difficult to evaluate the success of a machine one week after the show,” continued Mr. Zaldua, “However we can say that we are very happy with the quality and amount of inquiries we received; some of them very potential.” All in all, a positive experience, which Saspi would like to replicate in 2024.
