Tecnopress: mobile induction unit for cold headers

Tecnopress, an Italy-based company specializing in the design and construction of servo-devices for hot and cold heading machines, is glad to present the SCF/I mobile induction unit for metal wire.

This servo-device is designed to preheat stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum wire in coils typically used for the cold-forming of many types of fasteners. The heating occurs by induction.

The maximum heating temperature is 400°C and depends on the wire speed.

The SCF/I requires an electrical connection to the cold header for start-up.

Two models are currently available: SCF/I 312 and SCF/I 420.
