Longitudinal tube brushing and polishing machines

Bossi Srl, specialist in the design and development of metal surface finishing machines, manufacturers longitudinal brushing and polishing machines with opposed units for tube processing.

The machines of the Multipla UV series are suitable for tubes with circular, square, elliptical, oval, and rectangular sections that require superfinishes that cannot be obtained with traditional centreless machines. Here are the technical features:

• the workpieces are clamped at the ends by means of tail stocks while the tools, working longitudinally to the piece axis, cross the cut of the previous belt processing;
• the cleaning wheels are equipped with feeders for solid or liquid abrasive paste, with automatic distribution management;
• high performance, thanks to the presence of high-tech mechanical components, such as brushless motors, helical gears, inverters, etc.;
• managed through PLC S7 with the possibility to store in memory the working parameters of each profile;
• available in various versions with 5 or 10 tail stocks, and with 2 or 4 opposing brushes.

The machining range includes tubes with lengths between 300 and 6000 mm, and diameters between 14 and 80 mm.
