Tube, pipe, and bar grinding lines

For over 40 years, Bossi has been designing and manufacturing grinding machines and complete lines for tubes, pipes, bars, and cylindrical profiles.

Based on the required finish, the plants can be equipped with automatic loading and unloading systems, inlet and outlet roller conveyors, and PLC S7 controls. All machines are also supplied with safety guards and soundproof enclosures in compliance with EC regulations on worker safety.

SF Series
Designed for satin-finishing, polishing, grinding, and brushing operations on all metals, the SF Series is the evolution of the traditional centerless lines for cylindrical surfaces. Compared to those models, the SF Series offers considerable advantages, including: automatic diameter change, self-cleaning system, automatic control of the working pressure, speed up to 20 m/min, to name a few. The machine can process a wide range of diameters (10 - 120 mm) and lengths (50 mm - 20 meters).

F1 Series
The right compromise between power and user-friendliness. Specifically designed for grinding, cleaning, and polishing cylindrical surfaces in ferrous (steel, stainless steel) and non-ferrous (aluminum, brass, synthetic materials, cardboard) materials. This series is mainly appreciated in the field of thick tubes, rods for hydraulic cylinders, and bars of medium and big size, before and after chrome-plating. Suitable for diameters ranging from 16 to 200 mm and lengths from 3,5 to 20 mt.

CPS/CP Series
Traditional centerless machines for grinding and cleaning pipes, bars, and cylindrical parts of small and medium diameter. Available in various configurations according to the different processing requirements. This machine series features two different models: the CPS 400/300, which is equipped with abrasive belts and is suitable for wet or dry grinding; and the CP 500, which is suitable for dry brushing by means of flap wheels, or for dry cleaning and polishing by means of sisal or cotton mops with the addition of solid or liquid abrasive paste. The working range includes diameters from 2.5 to 168.3 mm and lengths from a minimum of 20 mm up to a maximum of 20 m.

HO Series
High grinding and cleaning power for round bars, pistons, and rods. Mainly used for finishing thick tubes, rods for hydraulic cylinders, and medium/large-sized bars, before and after chrome plating. Available with vertical and horizontal heads, depending on machining requirements. Able to process diameters from 50 to 450 mm and lengths from 3 to 20 m.
