These plants, set to be installed in Texas, are designed for hot-processing (650°C) tubes with diameters up to 339.7 mm and for processing stainless steel tubes with diameters up to 35 mm.

Italian tube manufacturers are also making significant investments. Cartacci Tube Machinery has received orders for a new in-line straightener with automatic loading for tubes up to 70 mm and two new plants for packing tubes with diameters up to 180 mm.
