Cartacci Tube Machinery S.r.l. to consolidate its presence in the U.S. market

Thanks to the cooperation established with its American partner KENT Corporation in recent years, Cartacci Tube Machinery Srl is increasingly consolidating its presence in the U.S. market.

The company has recently concluded meaningful negotiations with other esteemed American customers for the construction of the following bundling plants:

Pipe bundling plant model IMPC70SQ
This machinery is intended for packing square, round, and rectangular welded pipes directly in line with the pipe-forming plant. The maximum tube size is around 88 mmfor medium/light packages.
According to the traditional design, the evacuation carriage of this packer has the special feature of allowing the tube bundle to enter from the strapping station to the next roller zone: by doing so, the carriage can pick up another bundle from the forming station, without having to wait for the strapping operation to be completed.
This machine, therefore, guarantees high productivity, thanks to the simultaneous presence of up to 3 bundle groups: one bundle in the forming station, one in the evacuation carriage, and the last one on the roller zone leading to the strapping station.

The machine is designed for bundling square, round, and rectangular welded tubes directly in line with the tube forming plants with larger maximum dimensions: tubes up to about 127 mm in size, with bundles up to 4,500 kg in weight. This plant is also complete with a semi-automatic strapping system and draining and weighing station.



In cooperation with its U.S. partner Kent Corporation, Cartacci Tube Machinery will also be exhibiting at the FABTECH show in Atlanta (Nov. 8-10) at the Georgia World Congress Center.
