Elestar's expansion: new in-line bright annealing furnace for stainless steel tubes
Elestar is reaching new horizons with the recent delivery of a cutting-edge bright annealing plant in Turkey, marking yet another stride in its global expansion.
The company has just wrapped up the installation and commissioning of a state-of-the-art continuous heating system designed for stainless steel tubes used in the production of condensing boilers.
Equipped with the latest electronic control devices, the new bright annealing plant effortlessly manages heating power and gases during the process, crucial for preventing any unwanted metal oxidation.
Bright annealing stands as a significant thermal process in steel refinement. Tubes are carefully heated to precise temperatures, maintained at this heat level for a defined period, and then undergo controlled cooling. The technology incorporated in the bright annealing process plays a key role in enhancing the mechanical and microstructural properties of the tubes, ultimately reducing material hardness and increasing overall workability.
With the completion and installation of this cutting-edge plant, Elestar not only solidifies its foothold in Turkey, but also gears up for the delivery of four more bright annealing plants by 2024.
Established in 1995, Elestar specializes in designing top-notch induction heating systems and plants for welding both carbon steel and stainless steel tubes. Boasting over five hundred installations worldwide, Elestar maintains its reputation as an industry leader, seamlessly blending high energy efficiency with exceptional performance.
