Bright annealing furnaces for stainless steel tubes

n

In the production of stainless steel tubes with TIG and/or Laser welding, the final thermal treatment is performed in-line with bright-annealing induction heating systems. These furnaces are able to perform the in-line bright annealing of stainless steel tubes at a temperature of 1100 °C and the subsequent cooling down to an outlet temperature of about 50 - 100 °C. The process is carried out in a controlled atmosphere (pure hydrogen).

Elestar’s bright annealing furnaces are also fitted with a series of devices for gas management and monitoring, as well as with an automatic system for heating power regulation.

The bright annealing furnaces can be built in 2 different ways:

- the first, with a quartz tube that allows the positioning of the inductor outside;
- the second, featuring an airtight container, where the inductor in contact with the gas is positioned.

The output power of the generator and the length of the cooling tunnel are sized according to the tube characteristics and line production speed.

Also available for corrugated tubes.
