TIG/Plasma cold wire welding systems

During both TIG and Plasma welding processes, it is sometimes necessary to add filler material to the joint to be welded. The purpose of this procedure is to "fill in" the gaps in TIG welding (when welding pipes over 8 mm thick) or to "join" the two welded edges when welding with Plasma (removing the incisions).

To meet this need, LE.DI.CA has designed a cold wire feeding system to fit all TIG and Plasma torches. Thanks to the micrometric slides, the wire can slide along 3 different axes according to the operator's instructions during the welding process.

When the wire is feeded to the weld pool at room temperature, it is called cold wire.
