Mazak to inaugurate brand-new European Technology Center (ETC) Laser in Milan

The laser-cutting specialist Mazak awaits you for the grand opening of the brand-new European Technology Center (ETC) Laser in Milan from May 26 to 28, 2022. A three-day Open House event dedicated to the discovery of the company's entire machine range, with entertainment activities, live demonstrations, and - of course - excellent food.

The rising prominence of Mazak's technology in Europe, coupled with the latest developments in the laser cutting field, has led to the creation of a dedicated site alongside the Italian subsidiary in Cerro Maggiore (Milan). The ETC Laser features a large showroom that hosts a complete lineup of machines, a Clean Room for maintenance operations on optical components, as well as other laser-cutting machine solutions. The showroom also includes a nitrogen generator and a gas mixer, which are used by Mazak engineers to develop new cutting technologies and processes. The ETC Laser will also allow Mazak to better serve the laser cutting industry across Europe with faster shipments of spare parts.

During the event, customers will experience Mazak's expertise firsthand. In particular, two brand-new machines will steal the spotlight on stage: the OPTIPLEX 3015 NEO S-15 and the FG-220.

OPTIPLEX 3015 NEO S-15
The OPTIPLEX 3015 NEO S 15kW is a 2D fiber laser-cutting machine equipped with state-of-the-art Beam Mode Shaping technology that allows increased control of the laser beam's features. The result is optimal laser-cutting performances, both for speed and quality, for a wide range of materials.

FG-220
Mazak’s newest fiber laser cutting machine for round, square, and rectangular pipes and tubes, as well as for I, L, and H beams open profiles. The FG-220 features both high precision and great 3D flexibility, even when working with complex contours, thus streamlining production.

A range of machine tools will also be displayed, including the INTEGREX i-250H ST, INTEGREX j-200S, HCN-5000, VARIAXIS C-600, UD-400/5X, and QTE-200M SG.
