ERW tube mills: RT-H.F. series

ERW technology simplifies the production of high-quality carbon steel tubes through cold forming processes. These formed sections are then welded longitudinally, sized to each specification, and cut to desired lengths – all within a single, efficient operation.

Nantong Reliantt’s RT-H.F. series boasts over 30 standard models, catering to diverse production requirements. It can manufacture tubes and profiles in round, square, and rectangular cross-sections, with diameters ranging from 3/8" (8 mm) to a substantial 14" (355 mm) and wall thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 12 mm.

These are the main characteristics:

• durability: key components are made in copper for extended service life, while critical parts undergo heat treatment to enhance performance;

• user-friendly features: worm wheel mechanisms and PLC system enable precise control through slight adjustments in horizontal and vertical stands, while digital position indicators ensure accurate and repeatable roll settings;

• optional add-ons: each model can be implemented with a wide range of optional equipment, including cassette system for quick tool change over, end finishing machines, eddy current test, and straightener among others.

RT76 and RT76 enlarged: the most popular choice among tube manufacturers

Nantong Reliantt provides more than 30 tube mill models with traditional round-to-square technology. Among them the RT76 model and RT76 enlarged are the most popular ones.

The RT 76 tube mill can produce round pipes up to 90mmx4mm, and square up to 70x70x3.5mm. While the RT76 enlarged tube mill can produce round pipes up to 129x4mm, and square up to 100x100x3.5mm. The stand out feature is definitely the special mandrel and roll forming technology installed, which allows square/rectangle tubes to reach the same thickness as round pipes.
