Heat treatment of tubes, long products, and wire: EMMEDI at TUBOTECH from October 25 to 27

After the success at wire & Tube Düsseldorf, EMMEDI is about to fly to São Paulo (Brazil) for the TUBOTECH fair- one of the main tube-themed events on the South American continent - from October 25 to 27, 2022.

In collaboration with its local agent Villegas Industrial and other companies in the area part of the same group, EMMEDI’s team will take the opportunity to present its range of solutions for the heat treatment of tubes, other long products, and wire. In-line bright annealing systems
Ideal for improving the anticorrosive properties of AISI 300, AISI 400, duplex, super duplex, and titanium stainless steel tubes for various applications. The entire process takes place in a controlled atmosphere (pure hydrogen or mixtures of hydrogen and nitrogen) with an integrated gas monitoring system.

In-line seam annealing equipment for tubes and pipes
Equipped with efficient IGBT technology and an inductor with flux concentrators for excellent performance (process temperatures from 950 to 980 °C with a frequency range from 1 to 3 kHz). In addition, the manual or automatic seam tracking system keeps on track the inductor on the HAZ in tilted conditions (+/- 15° respect the vertical axis): thanks to the great smart process control system, it is possible to monitor both equipment and process.

Quenching and tempering lines for long products
The result of a collaboration with Ajax Tocco Magnethermic, among the first U.S. companies in the field of induction heating, these plants make use of a sophisticated multi-frequency technology for treating different types of long products, including UPSET tubes for the oil industry.

In addition to the heat treatment lines, the company will also present the latest innovations for next-generation induction welding machines with Mosweld SiC technology, which are ideal for longitudinal welding of tubes. Innovative design and performance beyond market standards make this system absolutely unique in induction welding.
