Wire straightening & cutting machine
Wire straightening and cutting machines are used to straighten & cut wires to make cut-to-length rods out of coils. This machine is best used wherever wire is further processed in the form of rods and where an accurate straightening of coiled wire with clean cuts, precise tolerances, and high outputs is fundamental. The wire is drawn from the coil pay-off stand through grooved pinch rollers and goes through a high-speed rotating spinner, which is equipped with five quickly and easily adjustable carbide, cast iron, or cast nylon dies. When the wire goes through the cutter, the length required can be adjusted on the conveyor gauge. The straightened and cut-to-length wires are collected on the wire collector at the bottom to be removed manually.
