Collari presents the new rotating base BR1 at wire 2016

Collari snc is proud to present this new equipment, that can be easily mounted on all the SV2 static coilers, even if no longer recent.
 
It is a motorized rotating base, allowing the wire coil to turn when positioned on it, eliminating completely – or at least reducing drastically – the torsion that generates on wire during static decoiling.
 
This new rotating base minimizes the possibility of machine block due to wire torsion, especially when it comes to winding of high carbon or raw wires. The winding quality on finished reels is overall increased, as wire turns out to have less residual torsion, and a complexive increased straightness; furthermore, the reduced occurrence of machine jammings allows for a great increase in winding speed, with a consequent boost in productivity.
 
The BR1 rotating base is totally standalone, working independently from both unwinder and winder: it is possible to setup the rotation direction and speed as wished, plus a completely automatic system provides proportional synchronisation between the rotating base speed and the wire exiting speed.  
 
On BR1 can be mounted standard coils with free bore up to 1 Ton, or directly coils with central wire carrier.
