Expansion, expectations, and collaborations: Collari gears up for Düsseldorf

Collari, an Italy-based company specializing in coil winding machines and agricultural machinery manufacture, will exhibit at the upcoming edition of wire 2024 in Düsseldorf from April 15 to 19.

Gian Luca Collari - head of the sales department - along with his sister Valeria, will be at stand H11/E59. We had a word with him about the event's preparations.

Will you be showcasing any special technologies at the fair?

Our production revolves around customized winding machines and accessories tailored to our clients' requirements. As we don't offer standard products, we'll exclusively showcase coils manufactured with our machines. We've received positive feedback from clients who eagerly provided samples.

What are your expectations for the event?

The last event impressed us with its high turnout of international visitors, despite being the first post-COVID edition. Therefore, we anticipate an even larger attendance this time around!

What are your goals?

Recently, the costs of raw materials and transportation have increased significantly and along with the new CBAM regulation on the horizon, many companies are considering the option of purchasing less from abroad and transitioning to complete in-house production, investing in company machinery to obtain the finished product directly on-site. Our goal is to promote our machines, understanding the challenges that many entrepreneurs are facing.

How important is the German market for Collari?

While we currently lack German clients and don't specifically target the German market, our focus is on expansion. Participating in wire 2024, renowned as the industry's premier fair, is a strategic imperative for us. We intend to leverage this platform to initiate numerous negotiations during the event.

Any new developments on the horizon?

We are considering a collaboration with a natural lubricant manufacturer for use with our SLF01 machine. This aligns with our commitment to environmental sustainability, and we're assessing its potential interest for our clients.
