Since the late 1950s, EME has been designing and developing swaging machines for section reduction of any type of material (round wire or tubes) for subsequent feeding into the die.

EME's swaging machines open up multiple processing possibilities for forming the material, providing several advantages: for example, a lower weight of the final part and improved mechanical properties, such as tensile, yield, and breaking strength.

The machinery is used for processing certain grades of material - for example, aluminum - and with diameters greater than 30 mm. This operation is done automatically in a single step.
