Chain manufacturing machines
Eurolls Industrial SpA manufactures a comprehensive range of chain making machines, including bending, welding, calibrating, and chain link fencing machines. The Eurolls Vitari brand represents one of the most established brands in the machinery manufacturing sector for this industry.
MC series chain bending machines
The MC series of chain bending machines is designed to perform the ring bending in three distinct phases. Each phase is managed by a camshaft that directly controls the bending guides, ensuring a wider, more precise, and consistent chain link forming. The central bending tools feature special polygonal rollers that allow for link forming without leaving marks or imperfections on the surface. The wire preparation system significantly reduces the force required during the cutting process and enables significantly better welding, even for high-strength alloys. The entire range of MC machines adheres to rigorous safety standards to prevent the breakage of sensitive parts. Additionally, these machines are equipped with a wire length control system to ensure consistent chain link and pitch geometry and high output production levels.
SH series chain welding machines
The SH series of Vitari chain welding machines allow operators to weld high-strength and high-, medium- and low-carbon steel and manganese chains in a single phase, ensuring exceptional welding quality thanks to medium-frequency technology (1000 Hz). This ensures a consistent and high-quality welding, superior to standard frequency welding (50-60 Hz). After welding, deburring occurs directly in line, providing a burr-free finish. The machines are equipped with a computer for monitoring and saving parameters for each type of chain and conventional safety devices to protect main parts. The machines can manufacture links with different high-speed pitches and chains up to 20.0 mm in wire diameter, but can also be designed for diameters up to 26.0 mm, upon specific customer request.
CT series chain calibrating machines
The CT series calibrating machines are used to test the strength of chains under tensile conditions, simulating the forces the chains will undergo during their use. In practice, the chains are subject to a controlled tensile force, and their ability to withstand this force without breaking or excessive deformation is measured. This process verifies the quality and reliability of the weld and ensures that they meet the required safety and performance standards. The machines are equipped with two pneumatically adjustable jaws, one fixed and the other adjustable, to securely hold the chains during the tensile test and allow proper positioning of the links. After a successful tensile test, the chain links are marked to indicate that they have passed the test. In case of link breakage, the machine will automatically stop. A touch screen panel allows the operator to save all tensile settings for different chain sizes. The recorded chain load and elongation values can be downloaded via USB stick and subsequently processed. The CT series includes several models suitable for inlet wire diameters ranging from 7.0 mm to 26.0 mm. The maximum test load reaches 50 tons.
MG series chainlink fencing machines
The MG series of chainlink fencing production machines represent a new standard of productivity. The blade speed and spiral length are electronically programmable based on wire characteristics and mesh dimensions to be produced. The variable blade speed can be set from 20 to 1000 rpm and adjusted during the production process. The cutting mechanism is controlled by an independent motor, which rapidly achieves maximum production. The two machine models, MG3 (for wire diameters from 1.5 mm to 3.4 mm) and MG4 (for wire diameters from 1.8 mm to 4.5 mm), can handle fencing loose mesh with dimensions ranging from 25x25 mm to 100x100 mm. The standard winding system allows for the production of fence rolls measuring 2 m, 3 m, 4 m, and 6 m. Compact rolls can be produced using the compacting accessory, allowing for the production of 2 m and 3 m fences. The compactor includes a paper roller that intervenes during roll winding to prevent wire end tangling, essential especially during the installation of compact fences.
