Gimax, top-notch consumer service with augmented reality

August is now over and still, COVID continues to haunt us — many international borders are still closed and travelling is severely limited. Gimax has been using this time to improve its customers’ experience by virtualizing machinery commissions. This digitalization has already been put to good use a variety of times since its implementation, with a total of 10 complete lines worldwide.

The company has recently started up a number of machines in Russia and India, and shortly 3 other lines in the USA and Canada will also be commissioned using augmented reality, with several more scheduled for Q3-Q4 this year.

Today, Gimax continues to offer a complete and timely service, to cater for a variety of requests and ensure prompt assistance. Augmented reality has enabled the corporate service engineers to work alongside Gimax customers in real-time, aiding them step by step during machine installation and start-up operations. In this way, the company can provide assistance and service within the time required, ensuring continuity in the customer’s production.

Remote service is guaranteed as soon as a customer purchases Gimax equipment. In support of this, the enterprise also provides video material and documentation, as well as remote individual lessons for those directly involved in the operation of the machinery.
