Spotlight on the QR48 rolling mill

Among Invimec’s most recent developments is the QR48 four-high mono-stand model, a compact yet high-performance finishing mill designed specifically for cold rolling of strips and plates. This model is especially suited for jewelry applications requiring extreme precision and consistency at reduced dimensions.

The QR48 can process material up to 30 mm wide and down to a minimum thickness of 0.05 mm, making it ideal for gold, silver, platinum alloys, as well as welding alloys, refractory metals such as niobium (Nb) and zirconium (Zr), and even multi-metallic and special superalloys.

- fast changeover: work cylinders can be manually replaced in just 15 minutes without special tools.
