Lämneå Bruk’s No Twist Coiler technology drew attention at Interwire 2023

The Interwire 2023 show, one of the most important events for the North American market, has taken place in Atlanta from May 9th to the 11th. Swedish wire machinery manufacturer Lämneå Bruk showcased their innovative and pioneering technology, the No Twist Coiler, at booth 1505 during the exhibition, providing in-depth insights into its functionality and benefits. Although the trade show was a bit slower than expected on days two and three, with fewer visitors from the welding wire industry, the Lämneå Bruk team, including Jonas Hagstedt, John Lindh, and Stefan Petersson, expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the event.


The No Twist Coiler technology, which produces twist-free and straight wire in big wire packages of up to 4.5 tons in inverted carriers, garnered significant attention at the event. The technology's groundbreaking feature enables the utilization of every meter of wire, effectively eliminating scrap and achieving remarkable material efficiency. Additionally, the bigger wire package allows for fewer stops during uncoiling and offers convenient shipping options to the end consumers. When used as a pay-off system, the inverted carrier system decreases general power consumption. These benefits, paired with the unlimited speed of the coiler, make the machine a cost-saving, efficient and operator-friendly machine for modern wire production. 


While attendance may have been lower than expected, the Lämneå Bruk team had a positive experience at the event and is grateful to all visitors for their support and engaging conversations. The team is eagerly looking forward to the next Interwire event in 2025.
