Windak is going big: a new facility in Estonia

Windak Group, the automatic packaging equipment expert, is one of the most famous brands in the wire and cable industry.

The company has recently announced its expansion in Northern Europe: a new manufacturing facility in Estonia, with a surface area of 3000 sqm, will unite two already-existing factories under one roof. This will enhance Windak’s ability to help clients addressing their business needs while maintaining the personal and familiar touch that has been the foundation of the Group.

“This chance came at the perfect time, as we were looking for key opportunities that would allow us to expand our company, our services, and reach new customers”, stated Staffan Edstrom, Chairman of Windak Group. This new production facility will allow the company to increase its export, improve its production processes, and grow even further. Additionally, the company will be able to host “Open House” events, which will strengthen the bonds with EMEA customers by welcoming them in Estonia, the heart of Windak Group.

The official opening of the company’s new facility will take place in fall 2020.
