Windak Offwind OW30, the latest evolution of automatic payoff machines
Windak Group, the Estonia-based company specializing in the manufacture of automatic packaging equipment, offers unique, end-to-end solutions through the use of its automotive technologies which optimize processes, save costs, and reduce production waste.
The newborn solution developed this year is the OW30, an innovative automatic payoff machine for up to 3000 mm in reel diameter. Windak Offwind OW30, a portal designed for payoff, features a wheel against the flange that drives the reel, thus offering several benefits, namely:
- faster reel changes, when there is no need for the operator to align the drive pin into the reel;
- no need for any gear changes since the ratio between the wheel and the reel flange will automatically alter the gear ratio depending on the reel size.
That’s not all! The new Windak Offwind OW30 also offers:
Quick and easy reel change - to make the reel-changing process quick and easy for the operator, the floating pintles can be individually adjusted during the reel change.
Swiftly adjustable height and width - the height and width adjustments for different reel sizes are made by pressing the push button on the control panel. The machine traverses on rails on the floor.
Maintenance reduction - all motors are AC motors for quiet and maintenance-free operation.
