Angeli Srl has successfully completed the delivery of six AV-TZ-LF vertical coiling machines to the Brazilian steel manufacturer SINOBRAS. This major order underscores the continued success of the Italian company, renowned globally for its high-quality wire processing machinery.

The AV-TZ-LF vertical coiler: a closer look

The AV-TZ-LF coiler has been recently revamped to deliver peak performance in producing fine metal wire coils. Thanks to its continuous packaging cycle, the machine ensures the production of tension-free coils that are easy to handle once unbound. Unlike traditional systems, the AV-TZ-LF eliminates interruptions for cutting and binding, significantly boosting overall productivity.

The innovative design of the AV-TZ-LF features a unique rotating capstan winding unit that works in reverse to the wire winding satellite. This proprietary technology, developed by Angeli, guarantees precise alignment and enhanced efficiency.

The machine’s configuration includes a V-shaped capstan pulling system with adjustable angles to accommodate various wire diameters, along with versatile binding options, including metal wire binding.

• A new design for greater efficiency

To improve compactness and accessibility, Angeli has redesigned the machine’s frame. The rear wire pickup column components are now incorporated into the main body, reducing the overall footprint. Additionally, the coiler’s height has been reduced by 15 cm, making the top section more accessible for wire feeding.

The control software has also been upgraded, offering remote support capabilities and integration with OPC-UA servers for Industry 4.0 applications. Users can now access detailed productivity and system status reports.
