Coils of continuous annealed wire with RPE-V, completed the 4.0 upgrade with new features

Angeli has recently implemented the RPE-V coiling machine with new industry 4.0 features to enhance production efficiency and control capabilities in the manufacturing process of annealed wire coils for construction.

Let's take a closer look at the upgrade!

First and foremost, the RPE-V is a fully automatic machine that can handle one to three feed wires, allowing continuous production of annealed wire coils. Furthermore, the wire coils are individually packaged with shrink film, providing adequate protection during transport.

The weight of the final product can be defined by the customer through the PLC keypad, which also allows for managing cycle parameters and any errors. The machine is capable of working with wire diameters ranging from 0.9 to 1.7 mm and can produce coils weighing up to 1 kg.

To further increase the efficiency of the production process, up to 4 machines can be placed in line with the Angeli IMPAK and BUSTAPAK models for automatic packaging in boxes or plastic bags.

The machinery is equipped with PIXSYS-branded control electronics, seamlessly integrating Industry 4.0 functionalities.

With built-in compatibility for the company's LAN network, the machines can establish internet connectivity, to enable remote maintenance services through software provided by the manufacturer.

It is also possible to connect to the machinery through any browser, allowing users to view access a dedicated interface for monitoring and control of:

- diagnostic data;
- production logs;
- alarm history;
- current status of the machinery;
- through the same interface, it is also possible to send production data to the machinery.

A separate app, available for both PC/Mac and Android/iOS smartphones, allows for remote visualization of the operator panel.
