GEM: a great success at SCHWEISSTEC in Stuttgart

GEM would like to thank all the visitors that had the opportunity to stop by the corporate stand during the SCHWEISSTEC trade fair in Stuttgart last November.

At the event the company presented some of the best innovations among its portfolio such as the Marta Modul machine with rotary axis (also known as "118030") and the automatic welding and servo module AUTOJOB (also known as “119016”).

Marta 118030 has been engineered with the aim of providing customers with an economic and compact solution without losing welding performance.
For this purpose, the company chose the Y=1500 axis and the new F09 in aluminium profiles because of its lightness and low inertia.
The 119016 is a new machine that integrates spot and projection welding with a high degree of flexibility. The system is totally automated, both for the pieces feeding and for the welding. The two robotic arms are able to position the part to be welded under the welding machine and then unload it in a special chute, discarding the pieces if welding anomalies or other imperfections should occur.
