GEM's welding machines: last novelties in action at Euroblech

Gem will present at Euroblech 2018 two new robotic cartesian modules intended one for the projection welding of bushes, nuts and screws and the other one for spot welding.

In detail:

118030 Marta Modul 2 ax spot
The machine, extremely compact and with self-supporting edges, is essentially a spot welding robot for medium-sized pieces that are meant to be welded on plane. The welding is carried out with an opposed two-cylinder spot welder, made entirely of aluminum to reduce weight and increase performance. The movements are guaranteed by a rectilinear axis and a circular axis driven by brushless motors with absolute encoders and robotic movement control.
As an option, an automatic electrode dresser can be installed inside the machine.

118031 Marta Modul 3 ax proiezione
This machine replaces with new concepts of versatility all the old multiple spot welders used in the automotive industry for the projection welding of nuts. The Marta Modul with its 3 cartesian axes and a quick gear change makes it possible to assemble the great variety of products that could be contained in the field of action of 1200 x 500 mm of the spot welder.
The spot welder, also made using the Gem profile, is equipped with 2 pneumatic cylinders on the upper part dedicated to the welding of 2 different nuts. On the lower part an electric cylinder has been positioned in order to bring current to the electrode holders positioned on the welding mask. Nuts loading is guaranteed by Gem’s automatic feeder with gravity spear, famous for its speed and repeatability in operation. The machine is a real work center for welding nuts with self-supporting fences, so made transportable and movable inside the workshop without any expensive disassembly and reassembly operation.

GEM will be pleased to show you in action and let you experience these two absolute novelties at the fair, booth A53 - Hall 13.
