Welding solutions on showcase in Düsseldorf

In just a few weeks, the most important fair for the wire and tube industry, wire & Tube, will take place in Düsseldorf, bringing hundreds of exhibitors from all over the world under the same roof.

The welding specialist Gem S.r.l. is among the veterans of the show, and is looking forward to the event: “We hope to  with industry players from countries that will play an important role in the future economy, get in touch with new customers, and possibly conclude sales contracts,” Arturo De Vivo, part of GEM sales team, commented. 

At booth A25, hall 15, the corporate staff will be pleased to unveil its latest products, including a new butt welder.

This butt welder is designed specifically for joining mild or stainless steel wires having different diameters, with the possibility of adjusting the distance between the jaws. Through the circular movement of the welding jaws, a small gap is left between the pieces to be welded, so that the operator can work in safer conditions.

The latest version of the company's flagship product, Marta System, will be presented at the fair:

Marta System 10 AX Gun
Marta System is a CNC integrated resistance welding cell, featuring a self-learning programming through an ergonomic operator panel. The new model proves particularly suitable for the assembly of wire and 2D and 3D steel products. This equipment offers unique technical specifications, combining for the first time the advanced technologies of: 
- electric drive of all welding heads, replacing traditional pneumatic cylinders;
- medium-frequency transformers. 
The machine is also equipped with a constant current welding control, with storage of up to 15 different welding programs. The machine frame, consisting of two linear axes, features a C-shaped welding gun fitted with an upper and a lower electrode.
