Discover MFL Group’s latest innovations in wire and cable technology

MFL Group is set to showcase its advanced machinery portfolio at wire Mexico 2025, taking place from February 11 to 13 at the Cintermex International Convention Center in Monterrey. Attendees can visit MFL Group at Hall G/H, Booth 428, to explore its latest innovations in wire, cable, and rope production.

Non-ferrous sector highlights

• Multiwire drawing line: designed to boost productivity while minimizing energy consumption and maintenance, this line achieves drawing speeds up to 35 m/s, processing up to 48 wires through 15 to 33 dies. It includes a quick die change system to reduce downtime.

• TS2 rod breakdown line: this compact machine offers exceptional performance with a real slip of 1%, energy-saving features, and high efficiency, making it ideal for various wire drawing applications.

• Extrusion lines: incorporating a patented extruder design and thermoregulation system, these lines ensure precise melt temperature control and consistent performance, suitable for a variety of insulation and jacketing requirements, including halogen-free materials.

Ferrous sector innovations

• LRPC lines: Mario Frigerio continues to set industry standards with its Low Relaxation Prestressed Concrete (LRPC) machinery for high-tensile applications in infrastructure. The company offers solutions from rod preparation to drawing and stranding, tailored to both standard and custom applications. Additionally, environmentally friendly rod preparation options, such as mechanical descaling and phosphate coating systems, are available.

• Automated reinforcement steel wire lines for bars: introduced by Koch brand, this line features automatic coil labeling, discharging systems, and motorized stretching roll adjustments. In addition to cold rolling and stretching lines, the new line completes the portfolio for reinforcement steel wire production.

Stranding and closing lines for both ferrous and non-ferrous sectors

MFL Group offers various configurations of stranding and closing lines, capable of producing a wide range of products from general-purpose ropes to specialized items. The portfolio includes tubular, skip, planetary, double-twist, rigid cage, and drum twister stranding lines, catering to diverse applications in both ferrous and non-ferrous sectors.
