Milani presents a new bending machine for steel chains

Innovation can only occur by finding the perfect mix of know-how, experimentation, and creativity in the search for the most efficient solutions. This is the basic premise driving the business of Milani Srl, a historical Italy-based manufacturer active in the field of wire processing machinery since 1986.

Over the years, the company has presented to the public several important innovations (see for example the line for the production of single chain links or the most recent servo drive chain calibrating machine) establishing itself as one of the leading brands in the sector. Against this backdrop and despite these daunting times, the company has worked hard over the past few months to develop and launch a new bending machine for steel chains, model P42.

The P42 features a unique bar cold bending system. This not only ensures a more durable product, but also considerably reduces production costs, as the bars are not heated.

Main technical features:

Link type: from Ø 26 to Ø 42 mm.
Material: 38Ni Cr Mo03 annealed steel.
Production: with Ø30 or Ø36 mm chains: production up 180-220 links/h.
Input wire, bars already cut-to-length.
Automatic bar loading.
Outfeed chain automatically arranged on a pallet.
