Milani to set the new gold standard in the production of single links

Milani Srl is proud to present an innovative line for the production of single links, from wire rod to the calibrated product.

The plant consists of the following elements:

- single-step drawing machine;
- bending machine for wire from Ø8 to 14 mm;
- resistance welding machine for wire from Ø8 to 14 mm;
- hydraulic calibrating machine;
- 6 kg anthropomorphic KUKA robots.

The innovative feature of this line lies in the fully automatic handling of the rings by means of anthropomorphic robots managed by PLC. The whole plant is also interconnected in real time with the offices and is equipped with remote diagnostics, in line with the requirements of Industry 4.0. This translates into an efficient production (approximately 10-20 pcs/minute) and a significant reduction in machine downtime.
