New wire straightening machines from Milani ready for delivery in the USA

Milani, an Italy-based producer of wire processing machinery, offers state-of-the-art straighteners, single-block systems, bending, welding, calibrating equipment, and coilers.
Once again, the company is set to strengthen its presence in the United States with the shipment of four RT 206 straightening machines.

An overview of the RT wire straightening machine series

Milani’s RT series includes a range of rotary straightening machines with fixed shears, designed to straighten and cut various types of metal wires, including mild, high-strength, stainless steel, galvanized, and ribbed wire.

Key features include pneumatic pressure adjustment for wire feeding, a rotating assembly with five straightening rollers, and a servo-driven cutting unit offering a length tolerance of +/- 0.2 mm. Independent electric motors control the rotor speed and wire feed, with variable speed adjustments. Additionally, the cutting bench is equipped with an optical scale to simplify and accelerate length adjustments.

The RT series offers various models tailored for different wire diameters and speeds, providing flexibility for a wide range of metalworking applications.

The processing range includes:

    • From 0.7 to 16.00 mm for smooth wire
    • From 3.0 to 16.00 mm for cold-rolled and hot-rolled ribbed wire
