Wind of change for Coseco: MFL Group to acquire the company’s IP rights

The year 2022 marked a huge change for Coseco S.r.l., a manufacturer of metal wire plating plants, as 100% of the company’s intellectual property (IP) rights were acquired by its strategic partner MFL Group.

This important acquisition will both allow Coseco to strengthen the single-wire and multi-wire plants and develop new lines, namely tin coating lines, e-phos lines, bead wire, and steel cord plants.

With a long-lasting experience of 120 years in wire drawing, stranding-armoring, and extrusion machinery for wire, rope, and cable, Mario Frigerio S.p.A. has now broadened its product and service offers. The Italy-based company has also reinforced its ecological approach through the acquisition of systems and devices for fume suction and washing. Coseco, on the other hand, will keep on producing equipment for the continuous pickling of stainless steel welded tubes.
