Jeddah Wires enters the annealing-galvanizing steel wire market with FIB Belgium

Jeddah Wires, a company specializing in the manufacture of fences, gabions, barbed wire, and binding wire, recently acquired a brand-new FIB annealing-galvanizing line.

With this investment, the Saudi company aims at minimizing the environmental impact and operating costs, while maintaining a high degree of flexibility.

The line will be equipped with an IMFLEX annealing open fire furnace, FIB’s next-generation technology, which allows reducing gas consumption. Moreover, the TeleDiagnostiC³ data acquisition tool will allow the local production management to trace the status of the line and enable the FIB customer support to provide remote assistance. This service has already proven its effectiveness during the pandemic. Thanks to the FIB Dynamic N2 wiping system equipped with a state-of-the-art zinc monitoring system, Jeddah Wires will be able to manufacture cutting-edge, high-precision heavy-coated wires.

The line will be subject to SASO standard approval.
